Color matching from curated colors, Pantone references, or physical samples
The Process
From color direction to production-ready leather.
Our process is built to help project teams move from a design idea, material sample, or performance requirement into a clear leather specification, including a free physical sample for approval.
A clear path from concept to production
Every custom leather order starts with the intended application. We define how the material will be used, then tune color, texture, sheen, softness, and thickness around the project needs before moving into free sample approval and production.
- 1
Define the application
We begin with the use case: upholstery, hospitality seating, automotive interiors, aviation, marine, fashion, handbags, wall panels, or another specialty product category. This sets the durability, hand feel, thickness, and finish requirements.
- 2
Build the specification
Choose a curated color, create a custom shade, enter a Pantone reference, or send a physical sample for matching. From there, texture, sheen, softness, and thickness are selected to support the design intent.
- 3
Review a free physical sample
A free sample lets your team confirm color, surface character, finish, and hand feel in person. This step is especially important for interiors and product categories where screen color is not enough.
- 4
Confirm quantity and pricing
Once the material direction is approved, we confirm production quantity by hide or square footage and align pricing around the selected specification.
- 5
Produce and deliver
Approved specifications move into production with clear material requirements, lead time expectations, and delivery coordination for the project.
